Diana and Mihai are of Romanian heritage and their wedding was an amazing cultural event. There were lots of family traditions, including a whole event where the groom approaches the bride’s family at the beginning of the wedding day and the father tells him he’s at the wrong house and tries to convince him she’s not there, while the groom insists he’s at the right house, and then they all share drinks before going inside. At the reception there was lots of dancing (the Romanian Hora) and a live band playing traditional Romanian music.
