Spanish Styled Shoot at The Abbey on Monroe

Creating a wedding styled shoot is like weaving a dream into reality, where every detail speaks of elegance, romance, and timeless beauty. Recently I had the opportunity to collaborate with a group of immensely talented vendors for a vibrant styled shoot at The Abbey on Monroe in Phoenix, AZ. This historic venue, with its stunning architecture and serene ambiance, served as the perfect backdrop for our vision of a luxurious, modern wedding infused with rich, Spanish inspired colors and flair.

Partnering with Cassandra Nichole Events, we planned every aspect of the shoot to create an atmosphere that was both ethereal and sophisticated, with a lively twist. The Abbey on Monroe provided a stunning canvas, with its classic charm and beautiful lighting, setting the stage for an unforgettable day that celebrated the bold and the beautiful.

The photography for the shoot was handled by Sara Bishop, who captured the essence of our colorful, Spanish inspired theme with every frame. As a photographer and videographer myself, I was excited to work alongside her, capturing the moving moments and intricate details that made the day so special.

Florals played a significant role in bringing our vibrant vision to life. Cheeky Blooms crafted hanging arrangements and centerpieces in hues of deep reds, oranges, and yellows, adding a whimsical yet elegant touch to the venue. Urban Desert Flora created a floral arch and ceremony florals bursting with color and perfectly complementing the venue’s natural beauty.

The stationery, designed by Saguaro Stationery, was a blend of modern and classic elements, featuring bold calligraphy and warm hues that tied together the whole aesthetic of the shoot.

Meanwhile, Faces by Amelia and Londraa of Caked Glam Co. worked their magic with makeup and hair, ensuring our models looked radiant, with looks that complemented the colorful, Spanish style theme.

The two bridal gowns provided by Strut Bridal were a highlight of the day. Each dress, with its intricate detailing and luxurious fabrics, was a testament to the beauty and craftsmanship Strut Bridal is known for.

The Pretty Maker Co. and I Do Rentals AZ supplied the decor and rentals, transforming The Abbey into a space of pure elegance and vibrant charm with their carefully curated pieces.

Adding a touch of warmth and romance, Douce Flame Candles provided candles that flickered softly throughout the venue, creating an inviting and intimate atmosphere.

The cake, crafted by Love and Cake Chandler, was not only a visual masterpiece adorned with colorful details but also a delicious treat that aligned with our Spanish style theme.

Entertainment for the day was provided by Raza DJ Services, who kept the energy high and the mood celebratory.

PicBooth AZ added a fun and interactive element with their audio phone booth, capturing sweet messages and memories.

The musicians from SOSCO filled the air with beautiful, lively melodies, adding to the enchanting vibe of the day.

Our models brought the shoot to life with their poise and elegance, each embodying the spirit of a modern wedding infused with vibrant, Spanish inspired color. A special mention goes to Boss Beauty AZ and Anna B for their work on Danya’s hair and makeup.

Finally, no styled shoot would be complete without a celebration, and Parked Party delivered just that with their chic mobile bar, serving up drinks and adding a festive flair to the occasion.

This styled shoot was a labor of love, brought to life by an incredible team of professionals. Each vendor contributed their unique talents to create a cohesive, stunning display of what a modern wedding with a vibrant, Spanish style twist can be.
